In an operation theater, doctor recorded the operation through the special type of camera, and burn the files into the cd, and doctor show the recorded operation in his computer, but at home when i try to play the cd in my pc, it shows unknown file format, may be because, these file has no extension, so what can i do to play this file.

You may need a software to play it. Maybe Quicktime or DIVX player. You can change the Folder options in Windows, in order to show file extensions.

I would download QuickTime as it is more versatile than other players. Just type QuickTime in the address bar and it should bring up the page and find downloads and click on that.
If the files have not extentions i would check the the properties of the files, if no clues are in their to what type of file it is. I would try opening it with various media players. Like winamp, windows media player. Hopefully that will work. It will also depend on what codecs you have installed on the pc. If that does not work i would call your doctor and ask what type of files these are.

Good Luck
Phone the doctors office and ask them what kind of display you should be using. Real time, microsoft , or some other viewing program. If they got it you should be able to get it. Good Luck.
find out the file format and search for it here:
